L’Arbre de mots Literary Park

Description

Located right next to the Museum of World Cultures, L’Arbre de mots Literary Park will teach you more about Nicolet’s literature and its notable characters.

On wall plaques, you’ll find the names of thirty writers who have studied, lived, or are living in Nicolet. Reading stands with plaques display excerpts from these authors’ works.

Steel sculptures, life-sized and created by Pierre and Sébastien Brassard, depict a scene from the novel La mort rousse by Pierre Châtillon and a character from the novel Le canard de bois by Louis Caron. An anthology featuring texts from all these authors is available for sale at the Museum.
