From mid-July to the end of August, visitors are welcome daily to purchase or pick the beautiful giant blueberries from the orchard. In the early days of autumn, thousands of visitors come for self-picking and to enjoy freshly picked apples. Picnic areas are set up near an artificial lake where ducks, ducklings, and Canada geese swim. Educational guided tours, a local products boutique, and golf cart rides will entertain the whole family.
Verger Nicolet began producing its first by-product, all-natural apple juice with no preservatives, in 1990. After a positive initial experience, the orchard expanded its offerings to include natural apple jelly, apple butter, apple and strawberry butter, apple syrup, apples in syrup, and apple cider vinegar. The apple blossom honey also bears the orchard’s name as it is produced from hives located near the apple trees.
